I think the players are finally getting used to the two of them.

But their internship comes to an end this Wednesday.

In a completely unfamiliar environment, they have truly given their all.

Nicholas originally came to Japan just to accompany Julian on a sightseeing trip yet instead of focusing on tourism, he has been spending his time with us at EFA.

He played in the Belgian 4th division and even went through a serious ACL injury two years ago. That experience shaped him both as a player and as a person.

From the bottom of my heart, I’m really glad we welcomed them.

The reason they were able to settle in and genuinely enjoy learning here is because of the warm and welcoming atmosphere created by our players.

Treating people equally regardless of race or language is not always easy.

But through EFA, I hope our players grow into people for whom that mindset comes naturally.
