第二回KIU CUPは🥉という結果に…
前回は優勝したので今回の順位は悔しい💦全力でやっての結果が3位。また練習して取り返そう💪
1チーム遅れて到着したり、バタバタの大会でしたが無事に終えることができました。
大会をオーガナイズするのは簡単ではないけれど、国を超えて仲間と純粋にボールを追いかけ、笑い合い、応援し合える場があることが本当に嬉しい。
毎回中学生にも参加してもらっていますが、こうした非日常の光景が少しでも彼らの刺激になればと思います。
「サッカーってすごい力があるんだ」「英語が話せたらもっと楽しいんだ」そんなことを体現し続けたい。
まだまだ運営に改善の余地はあるけれど、日本一インターナショナルで、笑顔溢れるフレンドリーな大会にしていきます。今回も大会中、大会後に参加してくれた色んな選手から「主催してくれてありがとう」と言う言葉をもらい、また開催しようと思わせてくれます。
次は12月。
参加してくれた全てのチームに心から感謝。

The 2nd KIU CUP ended with us finishing 🥉 this time.
After winning the first edition, it’s frustrating not to reach the top again, but 3rd place was the result of giving everything we had. Now it’s time to train harder and come back stronger 💪
One team arrived late and things got a little hectic, but in the end, we pulled it off. Organizing a tournament is never easy, yet seeing players from different countries chasing the ball, laughing together, and cheering for each other makes it all worthwhile.
We also had junior high school students joining once again. I hope this unique environment can inspire them even just a little to realize:

🌍 Speaking English makes it even more fun.
There’s still plenty of room to improve, but our goal is to make KIU CUP the most international, friendly, and joy-filled tournament in Japan. During and after the games, so many players came up to say “thank you for organizing.” That alone makes me want to do it again.
