2020年10月10日 U8交流戦

　先週もU8の試合を行いました。

　小学1年生・2年生を中心にした交流戦で合計5チームで開催。普段の練習の成果を出すと共に、試合から次への課題が個人個人で芽生えるので試合の必要性はいつも感じます。そしてEFAでは日本国籍以外の子達もいます。その彼らと言葉が完璧に通じなくてもどの様にコミュニケーションをとってプレーを共有していくか、試合の中で子ども達は沢山の事を学んでいます。

　私達は試合に勝つことは求めていませんが、先日の試合は練習から取り組んでいる試合の状況に応じて最適な選択をしながらボールを進めていくプレーが随所に見られました。少しずつですが確実に彼らは前に進み、サッカーにのめり込んでいってる様に見えます。本当に嬉しいですね。

　これからも今も気持ちを忘れず、ドンドン上手くなって欲しいと共に仲間への思いやりとチームスポーツの素晴らしさを言葉の壁を超えて学んでいって欲しいです。

Footballers need to internalize teamwork if their teams are to be successful. Practice is also essential to the development of professional grade players. The practice builds player interaction over the language barrier.

Teammates should be encouraged to interact so that they can develop instincts on how the others react. All players need to attend the practice sessions. This builds relationships and accentuates telepathy. They will also know where the other players are going to be whenever they get onto the pitch and how they will play when they get the ball.

I'm also thinking about social activities with the kids to bond their teams together. By doing this, the members will understand each other's abilities and personalities.
